"It's Time To Generate a Whole New Level of Wellness -
Alliance Veteran PTSD Retreat."

Alliance Veterans Retreat was created  in 2015 on the beautiful Island of Tablas , Romblon Philippines. We believe that it is essential to invest in your own health to live a life of gratitude and fulfillment. This belief guides all aspects of our work, from our teachings to our treatments and services. Alliance Veterans PTSD Retreat focuses on helping veterans improve mental health. We also teach tools that can be used to help participants manage civilian life. Alliance Veterans PTSD Retreat is a place where we are able to positively impact and change lives. We offer a range of services that will help our participants become healthier. Your future is worth investing in.

Alliance Adventure Retreat was created to take advantage of the relaxed and organic environment on the island. The itinerary is used to guide participants through daily activities. However, it is not the main element of other programs. We take cues from each participant and their needs. Each participant will have a chance to succeed in adventure activities that include a level of challenge and inspire confidence. Adventure activities foster camaraderie and trust. We recognize that everyone is able to reach their goals at their own pace.

Stigma can often be a barrier to opening a dialogue about PTSD and OSI while still serving. The program was based on the needs of veterans who were consulted during the design process. We offer a non-judgmental, safe environment that is not influenced by their everyday lives or the work environment at home. Peer counseling is offered in both a group and one-on-one setting. Recovery is a long-term process that involves many stages and layers. Mentors are available to support, encourage, and listen to their stories, as well as celebrate their successes, whenever necessary.

The wellness retreat is not a treatment stage. However, it is an integral part in the healing process. Participants can focus on their own wellbeing, away from the demands of daily life. The island environment fosters healing. Life is simple, daily needs are met, and you can relax and let go of the pressures that may hinder your recovery. Participants are here to learn how to concentrate on themselves without the distractions, pressures and expectations of their daily lives back home.

Please feel free to contact us if you think you or someone you know would benefit from our program. All inquiries are welcome, and we will promptly respond.

The 10-day retreat includes:

  • Meditation and yoga: Warriors At Ease is a program that promotes gentle yogic breathing and yoga to address multiple symptoms experienced by veterans.

  • Adventure activities: We encourage trust, communication and camaraderie among our team members through our adventure activities.

  • Community outreach: Provides a positive way to give back and feel a greater purpose.

  • Sustainable organic living and team building: It's been proven that using your hands to build relationships is a powerful way to focus and clear your mind. The program's calming and grounding effects include learning about local culture and spending time in nature with its organic and sustainable gardens.

  • Support animals: While we understand the importance of service dogs to your wellness journey, our program is unable to accommodate them.
